Have mivv race can with db killer it's a 35mm outlet...tried today without db and its a 60mm straight through pipe!!. Now I like loud pipes but this is just about on the ott range... Does anyone knowbif it's ok to run with db killer on race map!.....or I could reconnect the flap but can't remember if this is closed until 1st gear is engaged? This might help as and pc plods I could coast in neutral...lol.
got answer understand flab opens in gear or when moving in race mode so think I will reconnect before taking it in for map. can only get the 2012 race map currently on the 2013 standard map which helps hot starts however I never suffered any hot start issue on 2012 or 2013 map todate and had plenty of stop and starts when 90 to 100deg....so we shall see after getting the older race map if this causes an issue.
Just update bike IS faster than before...mate on a gsxr750 confirmed on our last ride out that now with race map he cant keep up on acceleration......... So I can confidently say to all that the bike not only does it feel quicker but has been borne out on the road and well worth the race map with can....result....ok perhaps not as smooth but then its a race map on T mode you cant get everything.
