I haven't had the Tuono too long and I remember seeing a photo of one with shotgun pipes and knew I'd have to get some, someday. Was lucky someone wanted to buy my Akra!

Will have to start a thread, asking folk what would be the best chip to go with them. Got the race can/chip that came with my '04 Racing, atm.
 
Know what you mean buddy, they look the bollox!! Sorry but can't help on the chip front. I know my can came with the Arrow chip included. Have heard too that you can'y buy a chip seperately!!! Bit of a CON ! !
 
The Arrow chip is the same as the standard Aprilia chip's derestricted map Andi. Just make sure the derestriction wire snip has been carried out to activate the deresticted map on the std chip

A power commander and a dedicated map is the way forward from here
 
Cheers Legs.....:thumbup.....yeah i've got a custom map on mine now and made a huge difference!! Not so much in the noticable power and torque gains (which were approx 8hp and 7lb/ft torque!!) but just the responsiveness was really noticable!!!

Do you think I'd be better off putting the standard chip back in and snipping, when I fit the Arrow's? Or would the Aprilia race chip be fine? Can't afford a pc3 yet :banghead

Do you have a link for the derestriction wire snip?

i'm unsure buddy but think the race chip SHOULD be ok as it's based on more free flowing cans (which the shotguns are) so don't see an issue. BUT i'm only guessing here bud, someone with more knowledge than me will drop in shortly and confirm or rip my suggestion to pieces ! ! :biggrin
 
Man If my bike had a Mivv Can, I would bring it indoors just to look at it :D
 
Ive just fitted a pair of MIVV cans to mine and they look and sound the dogs.
When i get back home im gona get the pc3 custom mapped to them but for the time being they seem to be running very well
