What a great day that turned out to be !!

Home now after a long ride. I was struggling to get my leg over the bike at fuel stops I'm so stiff from yesterday! I'm shattered.

Well worth the effort tho, everything worked out perfect. Track, weather and company were all spot on. Can't imagine a better way to do my first track day. Was good to meet some new faces and catch up with some old faces from last years event. Top bunch of guys (and Jane of course !).

Thanks for the experience everyone, hope we can all scratch that track day itch together again some time soon !! And special thanks to Robbo of course, this event was the kick up the arse for a fair few of us to man-up and do that first track day. Well in mate.

Richie

Glad you had fun Rich. Yes, you were moving some. You're lucky I didn't ask you to leave for being much faster than me & scratching your knees. Not jealous or bitter, honest :mad1

Davey B, glad you enjoyed & the back held out for the duration. Where's those pics?

Well, what an absolutely fantastic day. I know changing the day from the Thursday to the Friday meant letting some people down but a blessing in disguise me thinks! Sun was shining all day, circuit was perfect, atmosphere electric, plenty of time on tack & not to many accidents.

Huge thanks to Marcus & the Easy Track crew, the event wouldn’t have been possible without you all. Meant to say this at the briefing but unusually for me, got stuck for words. Thanks to Stef & Claire of Tyres 4 Bikes for their donation & all those that partook in the raffle, hope the lucky winner enjoys their 3 free track days. The most important thanks though, goes to you guys, the riders as without out you it wouldn’t of happened. I tried to get around to say hello to all but proved tricky being everyone was out on track at different times. If I got to say hi, was a pleasure to meet you, if I didn’t, sorry but thanks so much for your support.

Not sure yet on the total amount raised as waiting for Marcus to finalise but from what I’ve heard, along with the raffle & other donations we shouldn’t be far off a £1000. Not bad for a day having fun clocking up the miles lap after lap eh!

Once again, thanks to all that got involved, hope you enjoyed. Until the next one. Robbo.

Still on a high now! Fab day. No need to be jealous or bitter Rob, you still got me well covered when it comes to wheelies, jumps and good looks !

Gonna take a while for it to die down Rich! Loving the new avatar pic mate.

Like I said to Dave & yourself. Little disappointed in the lack of support from this forum being they all meant to be my boys. Maybe the type of event, date or cause was not right but as you know, it had a load of support from forums that I don't normally frequent. Anyway, you both done the T boys proud & showed em on track how we roll, like thunder, so thanks again both of you.

Until the next time. Robbo.

glad you guys enjoyed the track!! sounds like you all had a good day. To the guys running akras did you clear the noise check ok or do you use db killers? looking to get at least one track day in on the Tuono this year (work permitting) but dont want to turn up and get knocked back for being too loud. the akras sound like angels singing to me! :yes:thumbup

My T went through at 102db, Richies at 102db, another Rich from AP on an RSVR at 104db, don't know about Davey B's. Loads of other apes their but not sure on them!

Pretty sure we were all running Akros with baffels out :dunno

[URL=http://s771 if this has worked ( bearing in mind my complete ineptitude with anything technical ! ) this was some of us lot at Snetters !!

what am i doin wrong then ? trying to send this image from photobucket to here ! ( told you i was useless )

A lot by the looks of it ! haha only kidding mate, if they're in photobucket thats the hard part done.

go on photobucket. hold ya mouse over the photo you want to share, underneath the photo four boxes with computer gibberish written in them will appear. move ur mouse to the one that starts with http and left click on it. In the box it should briefly say copied.

Then come on here and in ur post right click where you normally type ur text. A box will appear with a bunch of options, left click on paste. About a line and a half of gibberish will appear. When you submit the post this gibberish will turn into a picture.

GOOD LUCK :thumbup

thats kinda what i thought Rich, however when i do exactly as you say and hold the mouse over the picture i want to post, i,m not getting the 4 boxes with gibberish in them to select the (IMG)http !
Any thoughts ?

Ok just had a go myself. The four boxes only appear when you hover the mouse over the thumbnail of the pic, like when ur viewing the whole album and can see lots of small pics.

If you double click on the pic you want to post it comes up bigger and shows only that pic. The box with four lines of gibberish are on the right
