r1 throttle tube

read some posts about it fitting but dont know what years can anydody help tried the mod with the brass but could not get it to stick the lost confidence of trying again

I didn't bother With the brass ring, just used some 32 mm plastic pipe and cut it to suit. I then screwed it on and cut the heads of the screws off, piece of piss.

i may give it another go with the plastic it just put me off and i dont want these things in my head when riding

Honestly mate its a doddle, I've done this mod twice and it couldn't be easier. Use the plastic.
