R&G Bungs

Hi Guys,

Looking for a bit of info, i have a 2001 mille which has crash bungs fitted (lowers) just above swing arm pivot, while cleaning yesterday i noticed i could turn the bungs by hand which at first i though was possibly ok but on further inspection i noticed that when turning the plastic bung the head of the bolt on the inside of the frame (which i can feel but not see) is also turning is this right or should these be torqued up tight ?

My R&G bungs do not turn.

On my 02 mille the harris uppers were fixed but the R&G lowers did rotate, i wouldnt worry as long as the nut is sound

It's an engine mount. The stud/bolt should not turn by hand. The bung may turn but the bolt should not.

Thanks, thats the answer i was looking for, will be suitably torqued by tonight, cheers wizbit
