YEP i Think you might be right i was given an 02 or 52 rear seat pad for my 51 plate when i picked mine up from a dealer. Had to take it back as it was def the WRONG one.
If i can recall correctly the later model 52 or 02 was slightly smaller than the earlier model rear seat pad factory update.
The right pillion pad turned up for mine eventually tho.:thumbup
