I am off to Assen this year & have fitted a Puig screen to ease the load on my ageing neck muscles.
It has certainly moved the area of wind pressure up. There is now an increased blast of air in my face. I used to like to keep my visor open till I was going quite fast, but now I have to shut it at relativelly slow speeds.
I can tell the blast has moved up in the area of my helmet because I need arms like Popeye to close my visor once I leave loose of the handlebar end.
The good news is that if I crouch down a little bit, the wind blast goes over the top of my helmet.
Additionally, I am using ear plugs for the first time because of the increased wind noise.
The bike does seem more stable at speed though & I think it looks OK.:thumbup

I fitted a taller Prilly screen to mine ... and the effect is that instead of 50% of flies and shat hitting my visor ... I get them all. Impossible to ride visor open at speed with flechts aboot

The original may have looked teeny and useless ... but it certainly worked well for its size!

I'm guessing that's one area where Gen 1s are better!

I have to wear earplugs on a proper ride. If I forget to put them in I have to stop can't stand the noise.
