I have a problem with the indicator of the fuel range in my Aprilia Caponord, the indicator always show only the first bar, I filled the fuel tank full, but nevertheless only shows the first indicator.

The upper fuel level sensor is a known fault on these. Should be changed under warranty. The lower sensor will still operate and show fuel light and reserve function.

There is much more activity and information over on the A1 forum, check it out too.

I just bought my new Capo 2 weeks ago and I have the same issue also. My bike dealer has reported it to Aprilia, and am waiting on them to send over a new dash board (think thats what you call it, lol) then they will connect and install it. Can't wait! Tired of using the odo.
Good to know its a known issue and that I'm not the only one. Lets see how long this takes.

Please let me know if that solved our problem. I'll take the bike to revision, because I lose the guarantee in two months

Please tell me the link, i dont find the Forum A1

Changing the dash will not cure it, it is the level sender in the tank at fault.

I went back into the dealership to tell them this and they showed me a new level sender that arrived the day before. His information was not correct, but we are getting there, all good. So we are waiting on Aprilia to approve this so they can swap them out. Thx, your a Champion!

Fuel float becomes 'holy' and won't float.....

Looks like Rocky has this one well covered - one of the US guys posted a video on the 2014-2106 forum which shows the fuel float material degrading due to (?) Ethanol blended US fuel, hence becoming porous and 'sinking'....instead of floating - the dash gauge thus shows one or two bars all the time......;)

No problems out here in the land down under (Aussie) as we have a choice of good fuel or Ethanol crap......;) I thought I read on the forum that the warranty part is now able to resist the evil Ethanol fuel but I have no 1st hand experience on this issue.
