Problem starting 02 RSVR when engine is warm

Hi,

I'm having a problem with 02 RSVR, went through the threads but couldn't find similar issue. In 90 % bike starting fine when is cold, than if I ride it for few minutes and for example stop at garage to fill up, it won't restart, I can hear a loud metal bang, starter would spin 1-2 times and than that bang again, there's no grinding sound (not a sprag issue, or maybe it is?), just metal on metal knock. What I normally do, is open the throttle and eventually it will fire up. What I've noticed is, when I turn off the engine I can hear the same metal bang at the end, this is means my next start will be fine, if I didn't hear a bang when engine turned off - starting trouble again, the bang will occur while trying to start. When starting cold - using cold start, when worm - tried everything, with no throttle or cold start, only with cold start, with cold start and a bit of throttle, with a bit of trottle -same issue. Any ideas what could be wrong with it? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

PS: I have big 14ah battery which is in good order and it is only 4 month old, brown connector mode done and rectifier has been replaced with aftermarket one, charging is good - 14.2 V

Would appreciate any advise !

cheers!
