Hello guys
Today i removed my throttle bodies to have a look at the injectors and fuel tank for a closer inspection of the the pump and filter.
When i had the throttle bodies off i removed the right side injector to see how clean the inside fuel channels were, all appeared clear with no debris so boxed it back up.
On removing the pump i noticed that the pipe from the pump to the filter was slightly loose on the filter side. I've been having a backfiring issue lately that i have been unable to resolve and thought this might have had something to do with it.
I removed the filter to check how clear it was and found a slight bit of resistance when blowing through it so thought it best to replace it since having the pump out. I checked the stariner also which was free of debris and in good condition.
After i boxed the bike up i went for a start but the bike refuses to stay running. When it did start it was running on the rear cylinder only but eventually got it running on the front cylinder too but was far from right.
I noticed that it would only really start if i primed the pump a few times before going for a start, once it fired up it just wanted to stall and would not rev what so ever. With the throttle fully open it would struggle to reach 4k-5k and sounded terrible.
I have no idea what could be causing this as everything i took off was put back together. All vacuum pipes and electrical connections are in place, i even took the pump back out of the tank to make sure i hadn't left anything loose but all appeared ok.
Any ideas what would cause the bike to start when primed several times then bog out and want to stall?
Its one thing after the next with this bike, it will be happy days once i get it all sorted.
Cheers
