Problem ecu rsv

Hello to all I am of spain and have a rsv mille of the year 99.
I have a problem in the ecu mistake gives 23 (sensor of atmospheric pressure) like the problem solves a greeting.

the atmos sensor is in the left air intake.

It's prone to getting wet from rain and washing your bike so check the connectors have not corroded before replacing it.

err 23 indicates no reading from it which would be consistant witha loss of connection.

If you want to test it put it in warm water. At 20 degrees c it should read between 1900- 3000 ohms and at 40 degress 800 -1200, reducing the hotter it gets.

The barometric pressure sensor inside the ecu, but I do not understand must be done.
spanish sorry

In the table of mistakes rsv mille 99 it puts that the mistake 23 is a sensor that this inside the ecu and that it is necessary to replace the ecu because of it was commenting on it, he will verify it thank you

Just checked and your right on the earlier models there is an atmos sensor in the ecu.

Doesn't appear to be available as a spare part. You might have to look for another ecu.

But the sensor that your you say if it has it and the motorcycle goes only well ignites the efi to have if this one badly this sensor?

The sensor adjusts the fuel for altitude and air pressure changes.

The bike will run without it but the fueling will be incorrect. Some days will be worse than others depending on the air pressure for that day.

I believe that this one is the sensor of atmospheric pressure that gives the failure(judgement) and this one inside the ecu a greeting

Hello I need to know if someone has changed it and where he has bought it because it must cost very little
It helps please

Is this breakdown of the ecu frequent?
One year ago the same problem and buy a secondhand ecu.
I do not find the sensor, it helps to find

Prune to confirm that the sensor of atmospheric pressure is the one that goes out in the photo of the ecu? I comment on this because in a shop of electronic components they doubt that it(he) is this

ECU failures are not common , but failures are usually caused by voltage spikes due to the charging circuit having a problem.

The air sensor is mounted in the front air inlet duct (well on my 2000 model it is)
