i hope you like polishing and don't ride in the rain or over winter

if you don't mind me saying i think they look a bit tarty
black wheels look best, makes them look phat 'n' mean

each to their own, good luck

I'm with apemunky on this, I don't think the polished rims go but different ships different cap tallies

its all or nothin for me mate , i was considering doing the exact same with mine but glad i went the whole hog . aus rsv has them done like that and his look good to be fair but his bike is silver with red on it . i would say for yours either do the lot or leave the spokes as they are and polish the rims only .

as i have said before though mate if you ride in winter or the wet you must towel dry them every time they get wet otherwise they will look tatty in no time .

am told about clear powder coat after polishing but the shine is dramatically decreased ...

get a winter hack and have you baby how you really want it pal ..

I got mine done and it pain in the *** to keep clean if you do get court out by the rain you will have to clean them asap i am thinking of getting mine repowder coated so have a good think about it:thumbup

lee yours look good mate same as aus , keep em man you know it makes sense ;-)

the bottom line is polished wheels/rims are great to look at rewarding to clean (if your a chromo like me lol) when you get a tyre monkey who catches rims you can just polish it back to perfection .

if you ride on nice days and hate wet riding like me they are no probs at all , if you leave em with standing water on em over night you get brown water marks on em and it autosol time (but only on the rims as the water runs off the spokes ) .

winter and wet riding = bad idea

hope this helps mate .

yes i dont ride it in the rain and if i do i will clean it asap i do like to keep it look as nice as poss like you mate:thumbup

how do you keep them so clean do you not ride that bike is it just to look at lol

got 10,000 mls on it now lee . i use maguires all metal polish and just top it up every time i get home .

i only ride on days off or weekends and never go to work on it . only time it gets wet is when i wash it really(not that often believe it or not) . most of the time i just wipe it down with a damp cloth to get flies off and then autoglym it . bikes dont like soapy water as well as rain water ...........

i look after all my stuff as it bloody cost enough eh :thumbup

lee this pic says it all pal your bike is as clean as a whistle and you dogs even been bleached :devious
