If my experience of removing the rear header is anything to go by, you smoked a lot of ciggies (even if you don't smoke). Anyway, here's a pic of mine. Sorry to hijack your thread, don't mean to offend!
I had my whole System including rear header of in 15 mins... Spent most of my time trying to level up the new pipes....

I think its the angle of the cans that im not sure about; might be worth thinking about some different link pipes?
