Pete,
It looks like you and Bad boy seem to have got off on the wrong foot!
I ride with quite a few of the guys on this forum and can confirm that some of us do break the law now and again......but we slow down for Horses, we slow down in towns and villages and nearly always stay off Motorways due to them being so so boring
Some may say that getting your knee down shows perfect control of your motorcycle, man and machine in perfect harmony! Wheelies and Stoppies now there is a different story I’d agree that they are not for the open road....but hey if you can do it and get away with it then off you go!
Our ride outs contain all walks of life from all sorts of professions, and at the same time all sorts of riders ....fast, quick, sensible, slow and just damn rite brilliant, I fall into the "sensible/ quick".
After a small crash I have been on the London Bike Safe course with The Met Police and gained some confidence but we all learn every time we go out!
We have as Bad Boy says " a f**king brilliant Laugh, and an even better ride out and **** loads of stress relief!
Our riding is not always 100% legal….but then who’s is?
I’m sure you have broken the rules of the road from time to time?
I feel that as long as you ride within your own comfort zone and that you have respect for other road users and your fellow ride out participants then we will all get on like a house on fire.
We have never lost anyone….so if you’re a totally leagal type of guy!!!! We will always wait for you at the end of each road…..it will give a few of the guys time for a ***!!!!
Dont forget we all own our own right hands......
Oh and I learnt to get my Knee down only last week!! I think its F ing brilliant!!! cant wait to get out there again to practice some more!! what a BUZ.......we will teach you if you like!!!! that way when you do a track day you will fit right in! Most people that cant do it!!! slate it!!! :nana:nana:nana
and everybody that can do it !!!! LOVES IT!! :devious
