Hello all

Ordered a tuono and had to wait for one to be shipped.
Dealer said it was slightly different to demo one.
Has bosh written on it and the tyres are Michelins.
Couldn't see which ones.
Hope weather is ok tomorrow :)
Slightly excited this evening ;-)

Congrats on the new steed..

bosch sticker will refer to the abs i assume... (did you ride a 2013 non abs model ?)

Have fun !

Today's the day.
Being a nosey ****, let me know all about it once you get it.
Most of all - enjoy.

hello and welcome, enjoy the new steed
not a fan of Michelins myself and was under the impression the OEM fitment was Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 :dunno

Rain Rain Rain , Didn't pick it up. Bit anal I know but my bikes never see water apart from a damp cloth for bugs.
Have rearranged for Saturday afternoon. Fingers crossed.

Dunno about the tyres, dealer said Michelin, will post picture when I pick up.
I test rode bike with ABS but was no sticker about bosh on it.
Just a couple of things dealer mentioned.

Was pleased it didn't appear to be covered in warning stickers, my current Suzuki was festooned :)
spent ages with hairdryer on them.

No point saying ' enjoy it ' cause i bloody know you will .
mine came on diablo rosso corsa's and no bosch sticker but it does have an ***** at the controls :thumbup

Thanks for all the replies.
I'm a born again biker, passing my test in 1979. Was a lot easier then :)
I initially bought a 300cc vespa on a whim and had a lot of fun.
I got knocked off that in my home town at 10 mph which wrote it off !
My next strange purchase was a piagio mp3 400 LT. Three wheels and what a hoot.
I changed this to the 500cc version. Local people said I looked like judge dread :)
Time to get serious and I swapped for a Suzuki 1250 FA. A bandit but your not supposed to call it that.
Had a year on Simon the Suzuki and it did everything required but it didn't stir my soul.
Had a do on a mates R1 and liked the power and handling but not keen on being bent over ;-)
Decided I wanted a naked and started looking. The other bikes except the Suzuki came from a triumph dealer,
and had found them to be excellent so went looking at street triples. Had a test ride and liked it.
Went to look at the new Bmw s1000r , liked this as well, but quite a waiting list.
Then I went to the rocket centre with a mate who was buying some clothing. Was just having a nosey round and
looking at the demo tuono as it had come tops in a couple of bike mag reviews. Got offered a test ride and the rest is history.
It blew me away ! Power , noise , handling , the only decision left to make was the colour ;-)
My mate was sat outside on my return and said I was grinning like an ***** as I came round the corner.
Luckily I got a decent trade in price as I think I would have agreed to anything at that point to get my paws on one.
Just checked the weather forecast, Saturday is looking good :)

Hope its dry for ya pal,...always seems to piss down for three weeks or more when I get a new bike.

Awe ra best wae it mucker, only two more sleeps.

I bought a new 2014 Tuono (with Bosch sticker and ABS) and that came shod with Pirelli Supercorsa. Thought that was the OEM tyre fit for the bike?
