This 1929 Sunbeam Model-90 Road Racer, like many of the motorcycles at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, has an interesting story of its discovery and restoration.

Discovered on a farm in England in 19666, owner Richard Green thought he had an everyday 1929 Sunbeam 500. However, upon its arrival back in San Francisco, Green discovered that his Model-90 was in fact the racing version of the motorcycle, and was ridden to first place in the 1929 Isle of Man TT by Charlie Dodson.

Restored with Sunbeams classic black and gold finish, this Model-90 features the standard flat-tank design, and high-level of detail, which the brand was known for. Unfortunately, Sunbeam never produced motorcycles after World War II.
