has anyone got a map for the delkavic oval can with derestricted airbox, and wire 16 cut? the one i just loaded is the "Aprilia RSV Mille 2001 European model Leo Vinci slip-on exhaust Derestricted airbox with K&N air filter". i figured it should be close. i have heard the map in the 01 european is the same as the 00 with the wire clipped. is this true?

How does the bike feel with this map in ?? , does it idle smoothly & have no noticeable flat spots through out the rev range ... Plug colour will give you a pretty good idea of weither the fueling is to lean or rich as a base line , but best things is to custom dual map ya bike to know it is perfect

Its been raining here (finally) so I havent ridden other than down the streets but it seems ok

+1, custom map it for the best results, no two milles run the same :thumbup

Sorry for the daft question - by custom map, do you mean get it on a Dyno? I've got an '05 R that I've just put a pc3 on. It's got Fuel cans without the baffles in & I've loaded a Carbon Can Co map - it's better, but it's still a bit snatchy at low revs. I'll try a couple of other maps off the Dynojet website, but get the feeling I'm not really sorting the problem, just moving it around...

Thanks Shazam - you don't happen to know a good Dyno place around Derbyshire/Staffordshire/Midlands do you? - if not, I'll post up & ask the question...

There's zero point in downloading a map from the dynojet website as this is a only generic map for vaious specs and is only a starting point. A custom map from a reputable dyno centre is the only viable option to get any benefit from a power commander

Ring Griff at Aprilia Performance as they use a local dyno centre in Tamworth

DB71 make sure you have old tyres on m8 when you go or you will be havin to fork oot for new ones dyno's chew them bad boys tae **** and after youve forked oot for the dyno sesh thats another bill you could do without!!!!!!

Thanks didn't think about that. Wish I had kept the old ones.just my luck.
