richt heres the deal,
garage that fitted the pc, disnae hae a dyno, so the option is letting him **** aboot wi it, and me riding it up an doon hittin 7k through the gears till its rectified, which isnae guid, as its in dundee and ah'm liable tae end up in the jile, and its gonna cost,
fair play tae the boy he downloaded the map and hes done whit a asked him,

option 2 book it into bob grant fir some dyno time, ******* gies me the fear seein bikes hittin the limiter an no moving, whit if that roller jammed lol,,,,

option 3, do i disconnect the ****** noo thats its on map 2 ,,,

what ye rekon, is it worth spending more wonga,,,, is the diference gonna be really noticable wi the pc or running standard on map 2,,,,,
lets here yer opinions as ahm no sure whit tae dae aboot it,

is **** aw straicht forrit:crazy:banghead:dunno

Go get the fecker set up properly on a Dyno. Downloading a map isn't gonna do much.
If you don't fancy the £100 bill for the dyno mapping, just remove it and flog it.

I`ve bin told PC dont make a vast improvement over map 2, take it off and flog it mate, if you dont fancy that it has to be a custom map. Got mine mapped with Moggi earlier in the year and it transformed the bike. Both >04 models though.
Done with Griff and Bruce in Tamworth

aye ah'm no wanting to spend mair cash and theres no that much power diference,,,,,should have jist left the ****** thing alone

WTF did you go to Tamworth for?

Try Chris Gunster in Grimsby - looks a bit of a headcase, but is an Aprilia trained bike tech with his own dyno - and a dynojet centre.
He mapped the PCIII on my Tuoldo, and remapped it once I got the Akra's.

Griff at aprilia performance is amazing, I have dealt with chris a few times, he`s a sound lad.
Bruce does the dyno on behalf of griff and he does Kwak bsb & wsb teams and a host of other teams. Bruce owns an ape and knows everything about em. 178 runs we did to get my custom map and we change the plugs whilst on the dyno. Its only down the road, id strongly recommend.

funny you asked. just had mine dyno checked so I could see a/f of map 2 mode. I wanted to make sure it wasn't running lean. There is def a good bit of room in map 2 for more power and a ton of room for better gas mileage! Is it worth the cost? that's up to you! I will probably get the pc and do a custom tune

it's running way rich!

**** it, spoke to griff doon sooth, wha pit me in tow wi a man called addy up in dunfermline,,,,, hes a ducati specialist bt does the prillys, hes gonna dae a custom map and balance the throttle bodies, and garantees the t will be ******* awesow when its doe, so a thocht **** it ahm as weel booking it in, its awa on sat for a couple o days

Gawd I wish that I had an Aprilia shop within a 4 hr drive that I trusted to do that. Going to see what there is for aftermarket shops that can set Andiamo up... after I get her lookin' purty again.

needin tae get yer erse ower here manni, this shops only 20 min fae me, this griff boy i spoke to the dy, seems sound as a pound, and seriously clued up (and no bad fir aan english min lol)

Sometimes they're nae so bad when they put their pommie predilections aside for a moment. Aprilia is not a well known name here, ergo, dealers are few and far between... and the mechanics aren't as knowledgeable about 'Prillys as the latest Ninja/Rmodel/gixxer.

*sigh*

pity i didnt live doon sooth, as on the rsv zone everyone goes on aboot this griff,,,, he seems a total gent,,,,, this bloke dain mine said hes havin an open day in nov as its anniversary o shop opening, and this griffs commin up, so ahll maybe nick ower an buy the man a guinness

That would be nice of you, lad. I always knew that you were a gentleman, a scholar, and a fine judge of motorcycles and women. As well as a grand master of the Queen's English.

Interesting topic !

I take you had your T in at Skinners in Dundee ??

Can I ask, how much was your pc111, what work did the geezer in Dunfermline do and how much did it all cost ?/

Reason I'm asking is I have cored cans on mine and Mike Skinned told me to get a pc111 but wasn't so sure, but now I notice the amount of fuel I'm going thru is ridiculous..

skinner took300 fir the pc111 and 25 to remap it,,, fair play to him, he disnae hav a dyno,
so he done wit he done,,,, the boy in dunfermline eddie his name is , rekons 200- 250 to custom map it get it aw sorted oot on the dyno and balance the throttle bodies,

Does the geezer in Dunfermline have a dyno then I assume !?!?

So looking at around 5 hunner bar for pc111 and set up :eek

think itd be cheaper buyin yer ain pc, an seeing the boy aboot the set up, aye hes got a dyno, hoping to drap it aff this week so ahll let yes ken whit his set ups like
