A mate of mine has one of them which I borrowed last weekend to adjust my forks. The Tuono, and no doubt the rest of the range has a larger head tube than the pins that are supplied, but in practice this is not a problem.

The only thing I spotted about that supplier is that they keep changing the price, sometimes its £40, then comes down to £36 - but I going to be buying one.

I have the micron version of that...

pro's
cheap
enables removal of f/wheel & fork legs

con's
ideally needs to be used in conjunction with a rear paddock stand
no access to steering head bearings (which need checking regularly imho)
fiddly, and can be a pain in the arse to use
can easily drop out (on removal) and damage top of front mudguard (personal experience:banghead)

I just use me trusty abba stand for lifting the bike & a normal front paddock stand to lift the front. That one looks like it'll hold the front up better for wheel changes etc and less chance if it being knocked off.

I got one of these for the rear. Very sturdy & reassuring also makes moving the bike around and storing in confined spaces simple.

I've got one of those stands, I got it for my Blade and it worked well. Not so easy on the Tuoldo as you have to strip a lot of stuff to get the headstock clear. I like the look of the abba stand

+1 on the abba stand! Used a friends and i'm totally sold. Safe for one person to use and keeps both wheels off the ground. Can even grease you swinging arm hassle free! :)

Check ebay there's often a few going on there. Have to buy the aprilia fitting kit for just under £20 but worth every penny if your going to be doing much work yourself

Funny, can't take a photo without a cat getting in the way.

'kin ell mate....did your cat come from Patrick Moore's house, or has he just been peeping through too many keyholes?
Cracking pic btw...bet he's a bit bigger these days?

That cat of ours is a right royal pain in the arse...his name is Parker (as in 'nosey') we were about to rename him.... '*******'...cos he gets fecking everywhere

My two are growing up real fast now he's a real daddy's boy & constantly 1.) Hungry 2.) looking for attention. Very vocal & makes all sorts of weird & wonderful sounds. Should be taking him to the vets soon as I'm getting a bit concerned about some of the positions he's ending up in whilst they're fighting.

She's much more independant & is now spending most of the day in the garden stalking chickens & trying to catch sparrows. Don't think it will be too long before I'm getting them delivered.
