Apart from the 'bling' factor, can you actually feel any difference in weight? does the bike handle any better? easier to turn? or is there no difference on the handling front?

If you ride as steady as i do then you probably wont notice senna :biggrin They do look nice tho' are you thinkng of getting a set :devious

They are noticeable when doing quick direction changes and speed of turn in, also less unsprung weight which in turn gives suspension an easier job, so yes they do but only when either on the track or riding banzai on the road, again all riders are different and some will not notice any difference if they are not pushing it to a point where they will notice the differences.

Expect to pay about £500-550 for a decent set:thumbup

only when either on the track or riding banzai on the road,

thats me then :biggrin

I've seen a pair on ebay without discs for £500, seems abit steep, Im expecting to pay like £400 without discs, and £500 with. and then i'll maybe sell my standard wheels and hopefully get some of that money back!

What model is your bike? the bikes fitted with radial brakes have different sized wheels which means if yours has not radial brakes then those wheels will not fit your bike, IIRC yours is an 02 model so you need earlier OZ's:thumbup

Yeah I noticed that in your other thread, seems like the non radial rims dont come by very often, meh I'm in no hurry.

Is £400 a good price for a good condition set without any tyres, but it does come with rear disc and sprocket carrier, no discs on front, is that good?

These was the ones I was going to buy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/APRILIA-RSV-R...2268751QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116

I emailed the seller and we agreed on £400 BUT and its a big but, I gave him a call today to confirm this and also to confirm the condition on them, and I asked if theres anything I need to know about them, he should say so now, and he said the rear wheel had been 'scuffed' and has been resprayed, which ofcourse threw me off, as there could be cracks repaired who knows? think i'll keep that £400 in my tearing pockets thanks!

thats a good deal mate, the original oz's were a lot of money. Muppet here bought new OZ's for my brembo wheeled mille, then changed over to BST's . I noticed the change/improvement in handling with each change of wheel type also .get a nice ally front spindle when you change the front. fer 60 quid its ALOT lighter then the original one.(you willnotice that difference too) You cant go wrong with the OZ's.or BST's
Ck

I just bought some OZ's in black with wavy discs for my T. Not fitted them yet...

Got a tank bag, cover and digi gear too. Brand new!

Paid £900 for the lot...

They look so cool I keep havin little wee wee's.

Do i need the specific spacers to go with the Oz wheels, or standard is ok? spindles etc all standard ones alright?

As long as you do not buy ones for radial brakes they will fit straight in without any modding

I've bought a pair, £460 delivered, with good rubber and discs front and back also :D
