Just signed up to what should be the best international forum for the best bike in the world and all I can see is bitching across the Atlantic and bitching about this versus other forums. Admittedly, I've only had a quick scan through so far, but it's a pretty negative first impression, all the same!

Have I made a mistake and wasted my time in joining TuonoZone???

Come on people, somebody reassure me, please.

HI Sid and welcome mate.:cheers

I think you'll get ******* about the silliest things in any forum. For some reason certain people like to have their choices affirmed by denigrating anyone else who might like another flavour of the same thing. Human nature, I guess.:dunno

Personally, I like both forums. this one is obviously only starting out so give them a chance. AF1's Aprilia forum sets the standard though. Having said that, I feel at home on either site. I don't post that much myself, but I do read all the posts about my Tuono, and don't mind poking a little fun here and there.

I think some who do get offended easily are a little thin skinned. This is the 'net after all.

Its all cool, just some good humored fun:) I'm from the States but have lived and studied in the UK and we have admins that have also lived in Europe and even one nutter from/in AU - its truly an international site;) Anyhow, take your shoes off, hang out a bit and don't take a bit of fun the wrong way:cheers

welcome to the site Sid. we are young, and had a bit of a rocky reception by some people, but that doesn't change the fact that we're a fun, easy going group of people that like to talk about bikes...in particular the Tuono.

like Josh said, take off your shoes and stay a while...only you can decide if this is the place for you :) (also, on a side note...only you can prevent forest fires)

:cheers

At last, a true English speaker! 'Ow do yourself Sid. I trust tha's alright?

I am a contributing member of 4 different forums counting this one. I joined this one as I own a Tuono. The whingers seem to have gone quiet now so, stick with it Sid. I've not met a biker yet who doesn't like to 'take the mickey'. It seems it started a bit too early for some sensitive souls.

On another note, with your name and avatur as a clue I do believe your bike is the same year and colour as mine. ???

You know exactly who I am, BoB. :yes :thumbup

Thanks for the welcome, folks. I'll certainly be popping in on a regular basis as I'm all for banter about our beloved Tuonos, with a liberal sprinkling of mickey-taking. :lol

I wish you/us and TuonoZone every success! :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup
