So, there I was googling expenses and found the Inland Revenue have the following milage allowances for vehicles, I think you will find the last one a little interesting :roll
--------------First 10,000 Over 10,000
Cars and vans - 40.0 --------- 25.0
Motorcycle --- 24.0 --------- 24.0
Cycle --------- 20.0 --------- 20.0
Aparantly it only costs us 4pence a mile more to run a motorbike than it does to run a pushbike that doesn't have £40+/hr mechanic fees, tax, mot, insurance, new tyres every year, petrol, oil, servicing, expensive parts, depreciation ....
Interesting eh? Guess my Aprilia must have something wrong with it as it costs me FAR more than my push bike does.
