At the ripe old age of 53 I have taken delivery of my first Aprilia.
It's an 04 RSVR, my god what a weapon, I have had bikes for all my life and my last "propper" bike was a Suzuki TL1000R, after riding the RSV I could sit here all night picking faults with the TL , but I won't. It was a brilliant experience, a four year relationship not without it's little fallouts but an exciting time was had. Foolishly I lost my way and traded it in for a big...BIG XVZ1300 cruiser ...good bike ... But every time I sat on it I new my heart rate would remain constant, that my freinds is not what biking is about. The best bit of my twelve hour shift is the trip there & back again, When the leg goes over the bike my thought is " this could be interesting" The RSV is not without it's little faults ...6 speed box...no neutral !! but when this bike was on the drawing board ....someone new it was right, and it was built to please and it pleases me.
