Oil Question

How much do you guys use? i mean, does these bike burn it off a lot.
Its a bugger on mine checking it with that stupid pipe. atleast with my last rice burner it had a nice window I could tilt the bike up.

any ideas on the best time to check the oil etc?

going to be using 15/50 semi. dont like fully sync as had clutch problems in the past with my tl and blade
Service due in the next 1k so might have a look about and see if the pipe can be changed for a more clear one:thumbup

hey there Dr.evil.. : } well the tube can be replaced with a new tube.it is not glass.it is plastic poly tubeing.and as far as oil burn each bike is differnt.hopefuflly it is about 1/8 th of quart of oil at three thousand miles. that should be the norm on the 98 thru 03.my 07 so far has not eating any oil.dont forget to check the bolts every time you change the oil dam v twins.. just love them .. d man out

Check after a runout when engines nice and warm. Turn engine off and look at your level tube when the bikes on a level road it should be about 2/3rds high. Any more then you'll risk oil blowing into your airbox. :thumbup

help .. i need to find swing arm protectors for my 07.I have the right side carbon fiber i found on e bay. and now nobody seems to have them.i chcked af1 all over still cannot find the leftside. anybody know were i can find it.. thank you for the help.. d

Get in touch with Boyler, he has just made some from some base models I gave him. All his stuff is A1 top notch!!
