Oil Light

Hey guys my oil light has bin flashing on and off for a while now, i have checked oil level and its fine but its started to stay on all the time now intill you rev it upto 2000rpms then it goes off.
could this b the oil pump? hope not lol or the sencor?
When the bike is ticking over its on then when u open the throttle it goes off once past 2000rpms
has any1 had this problem?

I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago, was the sensor playing up (quite a common problem), £20 for a new one delivered from griff at aprilia performance

Should be the sensor right bottom side of the engine ( as you sit on the bike ) just below the water coolant tank could even be a loose connection .
Have a spare oil pump if you need one

If it is the sensor then it's a straightforward remove and replace. You can replace it without draining the oil from the bike as well but when you unscrew it be prepared for a small amount of oil to spill out. I changed mine a few years ago as they are prone to leaking between the metal threaded part of the body and the plastic electrical part where the connector is.

Thank you guys i will check it on the weekend and maybe order a new one, I just didnt wana ride it and cause the engine to seaze up

If you change the sensor I think you are supposed to loctite the new one in.

Yep, and remember to use Loctite Blue or it's equivalent - not Red!!.:thumbup
