04 gen 2 oil light coming on, goes into some sort of limp mode. Leave bike ten minutes, no oil light bike goes fine, then light again. Sometimes light goes on/off as bike is moved from stand to upright. Oil pressure switch changed out, not the problem. Oil pressure measured at 30-40psi, this when bike warmish, no light. Don't have the gauge at the mo so can't test when light is intermittent.
Been suggested to me that it's either worn oil pump gears, or intermittent loom problems.
Any suggestions anyone?
