Ohlins steering dampner for rsv - help!!

Hi Guys

Just a quick question as I am getting to lazy to search old forums. :cheers

Do the Ohlins steering dampners for the 04 onwards model also fit the pre 04 models, or is there some major difference in the mounting etc.

Basically can I make the 04> model fit my 00 without too much drama.

I don't think it will fit mate. The damper will essentially be the same but the mounting kit will be totally different. The headstock on the 04> bike is completely different to the 00 model. If it was me I would look hard and wide for a top mounting kit like the 916's had and get that lovely ohlins damper on display. Also easier to adjust the damper on a ride when it's mounted on top of the headstock.
