ohlins forks

anyone know if a pair of ohlins forks from an 08rsv will fit my o8 tuono ? i have showa forks at present .i know i need to change yokes to 53mm top and 56mm bottom but are the forks the same length and are spindles the same :dunno

Mudguard is different, smaller fixings and possibly relocated.

No clip-ons on a Tuono.

spindles are Ø25mm front and rear regardless of wheel/suspension options.

TBH unless they are well cheap I would re-valve the Showa's. You will (as they say) get more bang for your buck.

you are right about showa's .ohlins are £500 then need yokes .can always resell ohlins and get say 75% back when finished with them .so really the ohlins are costing a little bit more than a re valve :yes please agree its the shiney bling bling of the ohlins i cant resist help !:banghead

it's your money & your bike. You can fit sleeves to the yokes - AF1 sell them, there may be UK suppliers also. You will need a different mudguard - Ebay usually has them.
