I'm just in the process of replacing my fork seals on my 2001 RSVR and am not sure if they were replaced correctly last tome by the previous owner. When I stripped the forks the parts came out in this order: dust seal - circlip - fork seal - washer. This does not seem right to me as it would make more sense to go: dust seal - circlip - washer - fork seal. That way the circlip is pressing against the washer rather than the seal. Despite my theory I will put it back together the same way I took it apart but I do not want to presume that the last owner got it right. Advice from somebody who knows what they are doing would be very much appreciated. Thanks

The Ohlins manual shows the parts in the same order that you originally found them.
