I have had just finished checking the bike over before going out for a ride when one of my Nosey Neighbours comes over and starts asking me all sorts of stoopid questions about the bike... like what the range is? and how long does it have to charge?.
I thought he was taking the piss untill it dawned on me..... he thinks the Tuono is an electric bike ... i couldn't correct him cos i was trying not laugh..... Muppet! :lol :lol :lol

Perhaps wrapping a tyre warmer around his head for 30 mins would educate him .......

Missed a chance to screw with his head. :lol
It's a superfast charge. 5 minutes. Right through the tires.
Lasts 1,000 miles for $3 a charge. :cheers

OKK educate me why do you feel the need to use tyre warmers at home, or is it just like a big slipper for your bike ????????????????????

Why not!! there was a SuperBike article last month raving on about doing this, but i've been using em since the spring.
I put them on my GF's bike to start with when we were going out on early morn breakfast runs,,, to give her some more confidence, worked a treat sos i thought i'd have a go too.

Tis bloody marvelous! having tires up to temp from the word go, when you are going out for a real HOOON is just soooo nice, obviously you have more confidence and can work the tires hard from the off... therefore they keep hot.

Theres no point using em if its scorching out or you have a hour of traffic to get through, but i have them for track days i may as well use em for the road too... if you have a set give em a go for your self.

Makes sense if you've got twisty bits straight out of your drive:hail I've always had to ride quite some distance to get traffic free twisty bits so wouldn't do me much good:banghead

Now if you moved over here Mog your tyres would be warm all the time no warmers needed ever...... my twisty bit is just 7 minutes away hahahahaheheheheheh
