offside mirror flops down when doing motorway speeds

as above what can i do to rectify this,

wind causes mirror to blow down and i keep having to adjust it

quite distracting

On the underside of the mirror is a nut that tightens the spring, have you tried this?

I have the same problem with my near side mirror, took it apart & there is a cup washer which has split. Did the nut up as tight as it goes but still moves when you get above about 120

Same here, both my plastic cups are cracked,have glued them but not much better,replacement kits are on the bay for not much.
