hey has any gotten an STM Slipper Clutch and if so how did you like it.
Also will that help the bike get into neutral any easier ?
Im glad to know its not just me ..

the mpl will help neutral
a few users on here have also done the slipper clutch and like them - bit expensive if its just to find neutral though

added a link aboove for MPL, they are a German company but have dealt with UK many times, just pick your colour from the page and order

good luck

stm slipper is great on my 02 mille. I still have to tap it down into neutral though, and I have the evoluzione version of the mpl CSC too, that didnt help with neutral selection either.

search the site for Clutch oil jet and change it.

It makes the neutral 100% easier hot or cold.

Spoonz matey, does that apply to 02 milles?
cheers
Ck

Yes.

98-00 milles have a .75 jet and are worst for neutral.

From then till 06 it was updated to a .60 and now all bikes fitted with 0.40

It will retro fit to all years RSV/Falco/Tuono. Cost about £8

if you can get it out hahaha
mines well and truly stuck and i;m not snapping it trying

slipper clutch?

Hi guys, sorry to ask but does'nt it come with a slipper clutch from the factory? I've heard that it's kind of pneumatic . In the owner's manual they talk about PPC (Pneumatic Power Clutch) to prevent rear wheel hopping. I've tried at the track to downshift deleberately while lean into a corner to see if the back would step out somewhat and ...nothing happened. No need for a slipper clutch really! Sorry.

Before you go buying bits and sticking them on yer pride and joy make sure you've done the basics.

When I bought my 02 RSVR the guy selling it said it had always been a bugger to get in to neutral. I looked on here and saw about the jet sizes etc... and thought yep that makes sense I'll pop down my local Aprilia shop and buy one this weekend.

Before I bought the jet I thought I would give the bike the once over and noticed that the chain free play was around 28mm. I set it to around 23mm free play and it solved my neutral issues.

How simple was that?

Always worth checking this first before buying bits.

The standard Aprilia clutch slips plenty for normal to hard riding.
