Nurburgring trip 2009 ! ! !

Alright guys,

After the success of last years trip i'm organising another for next year (oh so addictive!!)....There a few of us looking to go again so thought i'd open it up to anyone on here who may fancy going.

The approx proposed dates are around the middle to end of May (need to wait until definate dates for tourists are available).

If anyone fancies it, post a note on this thread and i'll look at the numbers. When i find out the dates,crossings etc.....i'll get in touch with you all individually.

Which way do you go mate?

If your passing through Kent then I may tag along if that's OK.
 
Al.....we went from Newcastle last year but depending on how many folk fancy the trip from further down your way, we'll make a decision then as no point in say, 10 guys travelling up from your end for theferry if theres only 2-3 of us from up this way!

Sprocker bud, the dates not 100% it's just a rough area.Was at the NW 2 years ago and was amazing but me and my usual suspects are planning a Motogp abroadlater on in the year so kinda need to do the Ring relatively early.....but as i said i'll confirm dates asap andpost them up!!

Alright Alan mate.......still up for it bud but as usual awaiting responses from a few of the guys regarding dates. I'll let you know bud as soon as i know anymore.

PS you going to Scottish show in March? If weather's ok, gonna get all the RSV owners to meet up and go together!!

Garvey mate...We did it last year for £150 return on ferry (including a twin room....bunkbeds!!) and 29 euros per night for hotel (stayed 2 nights).
So roughly £200 for ferry and accommodation. Then petrol, food, beers etc..
Though to be honest, i didn't drink last year at all as wanted to enjoy the roads and Ring so only spent £130 ish over there in total. I'll be doing this trip on a tight budget bud so looking to spend less than that this time as we ate in decent places over there but there were other places you can eat much cheaper than that, that in my opinion looked just as good (was with a couple of semi snobs last year!).

Looking more like the later part of the year now as we're off round Scotland in end of May, then Brno Motogp after that. So the Ring will be last trip for me this year.......prob late Aug sometime............:thumbup

Hoping to meet up with the Zone members too but slow progress so far!!
 
Sounds about the same as my trip to IOM last year in costs. Would love to do a bit of scotland, bit of a treck up there.

Guess IOM will still be on the cards. KNow what you mean about meeting members. everytime I sort my self out to meet up with Patty my bike breaks :lol

So Patty, im not meeting you ever ok. think I found a pattern :lol just kidding
 
used to live in heerlen near maastricht, if u let me know what dates ur going i might make it down with a few dutch guys i know..... keep me posted . cheers steve
 
Put me on your alert list please Andi - depends how late in August as my wife does a big show in early Sept (that's a trade show as opposed to a strip show).
 
Ill also try to sort everything on my side (cash, time, cash) so hopely ill be joining you, would love to ride on the ring...
 
Hell yeah man, i got another guy that will ride with me, we are in Stuttgart, Germany.

So little 3 hr ride for us, we have a chase cam we can use for our RSVzone guys.
 
No worries guys............i'll update the zone when i get things in concrete!!!
