Nube, wanting pillion views

Hi. New to this forum and would like to say hello.
But I would also like to find out from late model RSV owners or pillions their thoughts on pillion friendlyness of this bike. OK I know its not going to be Goldwing like in terms of comfort but was wondering how bad it is? I had a 1050 speed triple last and although this wasn't as comfortable for her as the 1050 Sprint St I had before it, my wife could at least manage 50 miles or so.
I'd love to get an RSV1000 next but as my wife is planing on the ocassional outting with me it has to be bearable or it will have to be a Falco!

The seat is hellish mate!!! Lisa lasted 20 mins and had to get off for a walk!!! Defo not ideal for pillion I'm afraid!!!

Got to agree with Andi, my Mrs who is fairly small got fed up getting battered about and after half an hour she needed to stop to stretch legs, ended up buying old CBR to keep the peace, suited me fine the more bikes the merrier

My ex Mrs was on the back from Donington to Poole, couldn't straighten her legs and was in agony when she got off!! Didn't get any that night!!

Can only report the same as the lads above, the missus can only manage about an 45 mins - an hour before her legs are screwed, seeing as how she's on the back and not me, i don't really care, lol

Get the bike you want, not the one the missus wants, be strong!

I would consider the Tuono or Caponord if I had to take a pillion.

Mines a gen 2, had my lad on the back (nearly 6ft tall) for 300 miles round trip. No complaints at all. He was banging my back to stop after 50 miles on an R1/Fireblade.

My wife can only last 30 mins on the back yet I took my brother on the back to pick up his new bike and he jumped off after an hour and said it was great.

Obviously not female friendly.

lol i took my wife on the back of my first mille a few years back she lasted about 45 mins ,shes not been on the back since (awsome):inlove not for girls anyway lol tampons are :thumbup
