I've been running a 190/55 (racetec last and now 2ct's) and there is no clearance issue's on my '00 model's chain run BUT the first set of 55's (racetec's) rubbed away at the hugger (on the standard hugger you'll see a kinda "notch/hole" at the top beneath the riders seat) .It rubbed it away a little so now the 55's fit without any touching. Didn't cause me any grief but thought i'd mention it........:thumbup
