Just been on the Northern Lads rideout 25 x bikes & what a brill time & new friends.
I see the Kent riders are out this weekend and have been in touch with them ( Amb67 ) & how about NEXT YEAR as suggested a few areas get together for a weekend, So open to any suggestions,
I shall start the ball rolling
Date:- Meet Fri 30-April-10 or Sat 01-05-10 leaving Sunday
Saturday afternoon rideout via Matlock Bath & Peak district some already said wanna stop Fri & Sat
Central location:- Derby
Accomodation:- Derby travelodge ( Kingsway )- It is attatched to the Kingsway pub stopped there twice this year WSB & GP good food & beer & parking. During proposed time only £29 per room per night sleeps x 3
1.3 mls from Derby town centre i,m sure Campsites local too.
retail park 200yds away = Sainsburys for petrol & breakfast
Friday night at Kinsway pub talkin / bragging about bikes & birds
Saturday night hit Derby town centre & talk about knee down exploits goin over the peak district ?
Other travelodges & Premier inns local if enough sign up
Just give a quick reply to give an idea if worth organising ? Ken
