Good day all. New to the forum . I try to stary my 2007 Tuono today. The bike is in a heated garage (I am from Canada)and battery unplugged.
When I connected the batt I was able to ear the gauge getting powered. Then I put the power on with the key. The fuel pump turned and the gauge lit up. (Like normal).

Then I proceded to start the bike. It turnned on the starter for half a second then all shut and die. Now I have no power going to the dash and no start.

Battery was fully charged.
I checked the two 30 amp.fuse.
I reconnected the gauge/speedometer.

What else should I check

weak battery !! may well be showing full charge , but the cranking amps could be way down !!!

ive had this many times ,always ends up with new battery . get your self a battery tester to check cranking amps and general state of health ..

I even try an other battery. The problem is that when you turn the key ON nothing happen. The gauge dont come ON

Mines a 2016 V4 1100 RR
Had same problem, it was a second 30amp fuse not in the fuse box, but in the wiring loom under from memory pillion seat

Hi, sounds like a problem with the battery or the connections.

As said above, hope it's an easy fix.

hi , may be worth checking main earth battery to frame !! , on the v twin the frame earth is in such a position that make it real awkward to get at .

as a precaution and to rule out poor earths I fitted and auxiliary earth battery to frame where its easy to access next to the battery tray .

let us all know how you resolved the problem !!

Hey hilift,
Turn out you are right! The ground wire that screw on the the engine block close to the V on the left side of the engine was LOOSE! After rubing my finger everywhere it kinda lit up when I touch that location.

Thanks a lot guys for your infos on that matters.
