Newer RSV more uncomfortable then old model?

I know it is very subjective question, I have sat on new model in showroom but it is tricky to tell. My 02 is a lovely bike and just comfortable enough for me (6ft1) The newer model looks a bit more radical - more like an SP1 in size and shape.

I commute 50m a day (only when weather is ok) / trackdays and hopefully a few longer ride outs.

Anyone here swapped models-comments?

Hi Mate.
I am 6ft tall and my 06 rsvr is pretty comfy, I have done a tank of fuel (about 100 miles) with no real trouble.

i'm 6ft 4 and had no problems.

I actaully found the later bike roomier seat to bars but a bit tighter seat to pegs.

I've had both & would say there's not that much in it, although I would suggest the newer model is a bit taller (hence tip-toes for shorty me!!), Only other comment I would make is that I felt as though you sat on top of the newer bike rather than 'in it' on the older Mille.

Hey crasher . I am 6'4 and i have a 02 milier r and a 07 and I fit perfect on both . the 07 is comfy for sure and you do sit a little more on top of it but not that much. now take in to cosideration both have adjusted ride highth for me. the 02 sees track time and the 07 is a daily driver and weekend canyon rider . both exelent bikes :inlove donnie

im juz 168cm tall n own the 04 rsvr. my bike suit me well
