Hi all,
Newbie here,
I've had a look around the site which seems great for all things Tuono. I bought my 06 model last Fri but don't get it until this coming Fri/Sat this week (can't wait) I'll post some photos when I do.
I have just sold my 03 stealth Hayabusa which was awesome but I wasn't doing the miles on it and mainly used it at lower speeds where aching wrists and neck took the fun out of riding, hence buying the Aprilia. I wanted something almost as mad but a bit different, the Tuono fitted the bill nicely. :thumbup

Welcome mate, nice vintage T :thumbup you will find you have swapped your aching neck for a numb arse but the accompanying grin makes up for it :yes

Hi and thanks, Did the hard seat make you choose your screen name? lol

Don't find the seat that hard? Are Gen1 seats different to Gen2s?

Had a numb arse/legs/back last year riding back from N Wales but we did do a squillion miles that day so to be expected really.

Welcome Rotax.

The Gen 2 seats are a bit hard, but as long as you move around a bit there's no problem. Would only really be an issue on long motorway trips, which wouldn't be any fun on a Tuono anyway.

Dunno what forum u're on today. Swings and roundabouts, pots and kettles.
U looking at the argos site as well.

Welcome R you'll need to excuse the above Fuds for having their usual forum phone call. :no

Greetings dude, enjoy the bike when you get it, and let us know how you get on with it, as well as the seat.

Off the phone call now also. I find the t a continuing tinkering project always looking for things to improve it. The bike has a soul
