Ripon
hi folks!
Not had a chance to browse around the site yet but thought i'd drop you all a quick HI.

I'm Emily from the US, currently living in the UK - Ripon.

Not been biking long and being new to Ripon too, hoping to meet up with a few of you to share RSV experiences.

Welcome Emily, have ya got an RSV ? Enjoy the forum, put ya feet up and make ya self at home :thumbup:thumbup

Welcome millie, have fun browsing around and don't be afraid to ask us anything. :biggrin

This site is full of very knowledgeable people in all aspects of biking. :hmmm

What RSV do you have, got any piccies in your garage?

Please say it's a bluey, please. Starting to feel a little lonely, think that only two of us have blueys on here.

Welcome Emily, hope you enjoy your stay.

Hey lads could this be our second lady rider. Hope so we could do with a bit of balance.:thumbup

Totally off topic but saw two young ladies at the Oakdene Cafe this morning. One on an old GSXR and the other on a relatively new blade.

Good to see women getting in to biking.

They were pretty damn fast too, or is it me that rides like an old tart. Turn up and find out!!

relatively new myself (forum and rsv - since June)

looks to me like you've spun all the cherries on life's fruit machine - bike's ace and ripon is right in the heart of god's country with fantastic roads in all directions:thumbup

incase you've not already picked up on it the finest ride (probably in the whole world - exagerating but rode it today and still grinning like an idiot) is Ripon - Masham - Middleton - Leyburn - Aysgarth - Hawes - Ingelton road - turn left at viaduct to Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Strongly recommend you double back there cos it cant get any better or travel Settle - Skipton - Grassington - Pately Bridge - Ripon.:doug:doug:doug

Hawes is a good stop off for a brew usually a good few bikes stop here:eatcorn

Word of warning police not very biker friendly - they won't shoot you but they will delight in relieving you of your hard earned :puke

Welcome to the forum. Another relative nublet here.

Tip top advice can be found from some true experts here about these RSVs so if you wanna know something then search around but don't be afraid to ask. Even the most basic questions I've asked in my quest to learn more about these bikes have been answered:thumbup

Then there's the open forum here where just about anything goes....:devious

Sense of humour not really optional :biggrin:eatcorn

Hey Mille, checked out your profile and was a bit concerned, when you are out riding you should really wear leathers, for your own safety or coarse!:biggrin.

Welcome to the RSVzone millie..as said above, its fantastic to see more women riding bikes..great stuff. :thumbup
Take care be safe and enjoy your riding. Aj :eatcorn

I suppose todays yoooooth are more interested in chaving it about in a banged up old Nova with 5000 watt speakers in the boot with 3 of their mates in the bank giving it ' quality motor innit' whilst wheelspinning the thing away from the lights and putting it into a hadge :biggrin
