Hi all,
Just got myself a 03 rsv mille, the bike come with a renegade air box and exhaust and it sounds like thunder I love it.
I will be doing a couple of mods and fluid changes because I won't be going anywhere with this snow.also stripping the bike down and seeing what mods have actually been done.
I will try and put some pics up,just one question there are two small pipes underneath the fuel tank that are off will this make the bikes idle be erratic.
Cheers flick.

looks good. dont know if i like the can tho a bit big for me.
Roll on some dry roads bought mine few weeks ago and since then we have had floods now snow.

I would take a inch of the connecting tube....would bring the renegade back a bit,and the bracket to the middle

I'm in the same situation, got my bike couples weeks and bad weather came too :/

Lovely looking bike mate I got mine recently too.. rode it back 240miles through the floods lol

Keep us updated with your progress.. check my thread out. Will be worth opening the ecu to see if it has an aftermarket chip in it.

Where are you based?

Great looking bike there Flick, I've no doubt you're going to have a blast when the weather clears up!

Nice looking bike mate, as said above you will be fine changing the can, or cutting it down slightly.

great looking bike mate!!

the two small pipes under the tank are breathers from the petrol cap they really shoul be connected to the stubs on the undertray, and no they wont make the idle erratic, i bit of a tune up will sort this no problem i reckon!

hope this helps!

By side stand mod do you mean the switch mod? I heard you only need to worry about that on bikes older than 2000?

I think I need to make mine a bit shorter, it sits very up right..

No idea about the chip mate, but at least it has one which probably suits the can and filter.. You can get all sorts of different chips. From what I know they control fueling (roughly - not fine tune) and ignition timing..

Fully renegaded buddy !!!

Awesome

Type c was the map that they programmed into that chip to try and match the state of tune in the bike, you've got a type c

If I may be so bold? Trim the link pip if your not happy with the look of the pipe , as they're starting to become a bit rare those end cans ....might be worth something one day , renegade had a good name for themselves!

Sweet bike mate!

Griff

Looks like i will just get used to the bike and have some fun.
Will probably get a different exhaust if It bothers me that much and save the original thanks griff.
Thanks flick

Just a quick update on the mods.
Side stand switch .done
Reg/rec done
Also got rid of the stupid alarm data tool sys3,the soldering started off looking like arc welding but got neater towards the end.
When I started the bike efi kept flashing on the display and wouldn't rev I thought it was going to be a nightmare but me being me hadn't pushed the ecu connectors back in properly all good now and sounding like thunder...love it
Cheers flick
