Dunno really, best one i can get for a straight(ish) swap for my GSXR. I had a TL1000SV when they first came out and although the gixer is the best bike i've ever owned in every department i still havent got the twin thing out of my system.. am thinking of buying a new RSV towards the end of next year, so want to get one now to find out if it suits my needs before i go and get blinded by the beauty and spend a lot of money on a bike that doesnt really fit my style.
any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.
also, anythings i should look for when looking round a second hand bike
Cheers

Any RSV is better than a Suzuki so you aint gonna be disapointed lol

2 models

99-04 and 04 to present

Both are great

welcome mate, if ya thinking of buying new one at end of year go for a 04 or newer as they basically the same, personally i'd just go for real tidy second hand rsvr and not bother forking out for new one and save some pennies. i went from a gsxr1000k3 to a 05 rsvr factory and although the gsxr is quicker than my rsvr i find the aprilia a more rewarding ride.:thumbup

Good luck with your search MonkeyDog and welcome on board :thumbup

I'd hazard a guess with the new V4 coming out and it being the end of the line for the RSV as we know it, not to mention the current financial climate, there are going to be some mighty good mark downs and deals about for 07/08's pretty soon as the dealers attempt to clear the decks :devious
