hello everyone

i have been riding since the start of our so called summer, and currently own a gsxr srad 600 which has been a great bike and hope it will be in the years to come as a track bike!!

basicly i have joined up on here to try and find out lots of info about rsv's.
I will be looking for one over the winter to use as my road bike next summer, so the main thing is what sort of things do i need to look out for on them?? im looking at spending between 4 and 5k and want the newer shape. would be nice if i can get the factory edition but that will all depend on whats about.

so thats just a little about myself and hope im as welcome here as other sites i have been on over the years.

Welcome mate, plenty to read here about the RSV range. :thumbup

Tis a very friendly site and don't be afraid to ask a question, no matter how stupid you think it is. :doug

We all need a laugh now and again, ha ha only joking. :devious

Hi and welcome

Loads of great info on here so fill your boots

As you'll see i am from york too, been on the rsv since June and love it:doug:doug

4 - 5 k in the current climate should get you a new shape factory (rather than the classic/original shape so revered by our colleagues here).:inlove

A couple of the guys on here have sold some awesome machines for much less in the last couple of weeks .... anyhow i'm beer rambling ..... enjoy you time on the zone and get yourself a piece of automotive exotica soon as you can

would love a factory and the bonus is they are only £335 for me to insure compaired with about a grand for a 4 cylinder bike!! were abouts do you go for rides out???

Welcome to the RSVzone Ben..yearh matey a nice choice for your next bike. In the current market, i think you should be able to pick up a good RSV for that kind of money...they are a superb machine however nothing like yer little gixer. The RSVz can have a few little niggly faults, but nothing that can't be sorted easily. Lots of mods available, nice carbon bits etc...i am sure you will not be disappointed if you choose to be an owner. Cheers Aj :thumbup

Yeah .....what Lenwaa said :thumbup welcome to the forum bigben...Squires not too far from you do you ever get there ?

i do like to go and just have a chill out and a look at the bikes but i aint been for months!! and now there wont be much more nice weather to go!!
