Hi, introducing myself to you all, Talan Skeels-Piggins (and that is actually my real name not something created from a game of boggle!).

I have just got hold of a 2001 RSVR which I am loving the sound of. Have been 'track daying' with my GSXR750K7 for the past two years and just started racing Hill-climbs/Sprints/Twisty Sprints with an SV650. Now have to wait for the bike to be adapted before I can ride it on the track, but hopefully not too long.

Also set up a charity called The Bike Experience, which teaches disabled/injured motorcyclists how to ride again. If you have this weeks MCN, then Chris Dabbs has just done a two page article about the charity (page 24-25) as he was one of my first pupils. Always looking for spare kit - leathers, gloves, boots. Also looking for volunteers to help act as launch crew at the events, normally on a Wednesday at Castle Combe during their track days.

Cheers Talan.

Nice one Talan. We were in Bath for a ride out on monday. I'll have a look for some kit, should have some stuff around. what kinda stuff are ya looking for?

We are looking for old leathers, gloves and boots. We have helmets as LS2 are sponsoring the charity, but other riding kit is greatly appreciated. We are also after volunteers to come and help out with our track days, to act as launch crew for the disabled riders. If you go to our facebook page 'The Bike Experience', you will see our blog videos and what we do. Cheers Talan

Hi Talan,
Welcome to RSVR ownership. I was at Donington last week with No Limits, in Inters riding an RSV 1000R Factory, I remember you coming past me....... going very well ! Good luck with the charity, it's a great cause.

I remember that whilst I was trying to get past, I got to enjoy the noise coming out the twin pipes of your bike. Weren't you in the garage next door with all the Italian bikes....some great sounds coming from the big V twins. We are on facebook under 'The Bike Experience', we have video blogs and photographs from the events we have run so far. When you out next? I am looking to return to Donny and not end up in the gravel trap at turn one! Cheers.

Nothing booked yet, but would like to do Cawell & Oulton again. Didn't know you made a visit to the gravel, should have kept that quiet ;-)
