1st post,Colin,45 yr old from Livingston,Central Scotland.
I hope to finally scratch that wee RSV itch thats been hovering about for a few years.
I've been a Ducati owner since 2007/8, 3xSupersport/916/851/S4 Monster a wee dabble with Laverda and a Benelli to,I'm currently down to just the one bike,a 748 SP which I've been trying to sell for the last wee while to enable a Mille purchase.
I have a couple of K I could spend just now ,but I'd rather have the SP shifted and spend the 3k I hope to get for it on a decent early Rsv.
Maybe a bit premature posting just now since the Duc hasn't shifted yet but I've been lurking a while :biggrin
Plenty of bikes to choose, prices are varied to say the least...not going to be easy sorting the wheat fi the chaff, thats where forums come in though :inlove

Cheers,Col

Nicely balanced but predictable Ducati views :roll
Lets hope a Mille can provide me with the same soulful experience:thumbup

I reckon I need to start looking at trading my 748sp for a Mille at a dealers, the private used bike market is on its arse!

Don't think I've seen any floating aboot Livi, I'm not a million miles away from the guy in Deer pk, I'm in Deans.
I seen a blue one on the M8 today in the pushing rain, around Whitburn he was, I presume it's the one that was on eBay up until a few days ago, can't be many that colour about.

i am very happy with it:thumbup ,went to the north west on it this year for my first time and it made it back with no problems its things like swing arm has some scratches :angryfrom one or two of the last owners heels also it has been dropped at least once :eek:but its not been bad ,the only bad bit is the left hand air duct has some bad scores on it but the rest is good .if it was mint i would hang on to it but theres been a few last owners im the 8th :biggrin but it came with all last mot`s and it all adds up fine :thumbup.i swapped some of the goodies from my last mille on to it before i sold it to my mate :leo-v and rear-sets and scot-oiler still need to fit pc3 and get it back on the dyno for a tune up .19000 odd miles and the engine seems very good pulls like it should front forks are very good the rear shock needs a dabble to get it right ive only had it a few months but ive just been to busy playing on it:devious but i will sort it the way i want it the next chance i get. i think trying to find a real minter mille R will be a long wait by the look of things but im in no hurry and still have a bike to ride. im looking to spend around 4k or a bit more:dunno for the right bike so it needs to be mint like new with as much exras as i can get with it one owner and low miles would be nice to. if there is such a bike lol just have to wait an see bud :biggrin . good luck selling your duke mate :nana

I'm Carmondean mate, camps Rigg :)

Still trying to sell before I can buy, doing my fkn head in.The Ducs getting a new tyre and through an MOT this week, maybe the new ticket will persuade someone to part with cash, plenty offers from chancers as is the norm :(
I've an absolute mint 02 Mille waiting to be bought, it's a Mates bike a very nice price to .
