Hello to all,

I'm new to this community. I have been out of the bike scene for about 3years (i now have 2x children, i guess I had too much time on my hands..)

Three years ago I sold my Triumph Daytona 955i and was about to buy an Aprilia Mille R, but then found out my wife was pregnant and took the sensible option of buying a 6.5 litre Chevy powered AC Cobra (replica) instead, as a man needs his toys right!!:devious (It was like being in a four wheeled motorbike !!!).

Anyway 3yrs later and i'm now looking for that Aprilia again. I have a £6k budget and i'm looking to get an RSVR on an 05 plate or newer, maybe even a 'factory' ?

Would appreciate any tips or advice you can all offer and obviously if anyone knows of any bikes for sale that fit my criteria then please let me know.

Just took a look at your bike, very nice example. Can you confirm that the 'factory' takes a pillion as the wife is a bit of an adrenalin junkie and will want to go on the back !!?

It will take pillion,but not had anyone on mine.:thumbup
 
Thanks, by the way I'm based in Benfleet Essex, so not a million miles away from Kent !!?
You might spot me at the show I'll be the guy drooling over the Aprilia stand whilst pushing a double pushchair full of ankle biters.....!

Welcome aboard the mad house Roger. Will be going to the show Friday and meeting up with badboy. Think u'll be dissappointed as Aprilia don't seem to have any stands at the bike shows of late. Wasn't one there last year, nor at the NEC show either.

I'm up in Colchester matey so give us a shout once you get ur new ride. Try to contact rsvr47 on this site as he is selling his 06 RSVR, and it has the new 07 engine fitted too. :thumbup
