Hi guys,

want to say hello to everybody here. I am a proud owner of RSVR 2001 and RSVR 2003 (the first one I am on the way to sell, because I did some unwanted changes when I crashed on the racetrack... :( )

like this web very much for all that usefull advices, so that's the main reason why I have registered..

hope you don't mind ;)

Welcome to the site don't forget to post some images of your RSV's in your garage. :eatcorn

(Only cos I'm looking for ideas on how to paint/decal mine up over the winter) :devious

all changes made by me is MRA windshield and TITAX clutch and brake levers (I put them on the bike after those pics have been made) and already ordered akrapovic exhaust.. nothing more - the bike is perfect by it-self ;)

my old beauty (R 2001) you can see in "my garage" here on this site (unfortunately I can't find the way how to put another item to the gallery..)

this is how it looks two months ago (before I had my small 180km/h crash on the racetrack..)

hope you like it ;)

awesome looking bikes mate, did you hurt yourself after your off? did it mess up the bike bad?

no, thanx god I did not hurt myself - to be honest - it was a "nice" crash.. was too long on the racetrack (about 40 minutes), the temperature was pretty high (air and aswell the asphalt), but I was faster and faster, feeling great.. unfortunatelly, I forgot, that I am not riding slicks, but Metzeler Sportec M3 (which are great when you are visiting race track, but not really made for a real "race" when the racetrack has more than 122F/ 50C), so, the tyres started to be hot and slippy.. But I was so excited, I just didn't think.. thats all.. so, fast left turn, back wheel lost the adhesion because of full throttle.. I felt on the left side and was sliding over the track out to the grass.. was really fast (about 112 miles per hour), but I was lucky, because of holding all the time the handlebars and prays to keep it only on one side, I finally stopped out of the track without just cosmetic damages (on my leather suit as well as on the bike ofcourse :D )..

well, first I though that I will repair my RSV, but then I found the new one and when calculating the reparation costs, i realised, that would be much more easy to buy a new one...

so that is my story.. sorry to bother with this.. ;)
