Hi All

Just bought a 2008 Factory. My first Italian bike after years of Japanese sameness. It was time for something that I could look at and feel like it was something special. Will get a foto into my profile soon.

Looks like there is a load of good info here and the first thing on the list is a new sidestand. Now it just needs to stop raining so that I can get out and ride the thing!

Cheers

Carl

Welcome Carl - made the jump to Aprilias and ultimately the Tuono a number of years ago - makes me smile everytime I get on board. Happy and safe riding.

Stopped raining for long enough to ride the Tuono to work today. Got home with a maniacal grin on my face. This thing has so much attitude its just angry, I love it!

welcome on board crusty and hope you enjoy the T as much as i do :yes nice to know its not just us guys in the UK who get the rain :thumbup

Love the tuono so much that I'm now commuting on a scooter!

Can't bear the thought of watching a car back into the tuono like happened with my sv1000 parked in front of the office. The tuono is so much fun but it deserves better than that so is now a weekend bike.

That and the fact that the tuono gets a little bit hot in traffic and I'm waiting on the hose clamps to turn up to stop it pumping coolant out over the sides of the engine.

This bike attracts so much attention too! It's a bit strange coming off a bland old suzuki as every time I stop someone wants to have a chat about it.

Ciao
