Hi everyone,

Thought I'd post my 1st thread by announcing the news that today I ordered my Tuono Factory 2009 in the new Black dream colours.

I have opted for a set of Akropovic Titanium cans with carbon ends and trick brake levers and the usual R & G crash bobbins etc.

Not sure if I can wait the 3 weeks until it arrives but will try my best Lol.

As soon as it arrives i'll post some pics.....

If there are any members in the South Wales area, just let me know and we can maybe take a blast over to Breacon.

Welcome to the zone mate, I bet you can't wait, like a kid waiting for Santa to come 'aint it?

Got a Factory 2008 myself after years of Jap multi's, and never looked back.

Off to Italy next Wednesday for 2 weeks, 4000 miles planned, so looking forward to really getting to know this Italian stallion on it's home turf!

Will post a picture blog when I return, you will enjoy your new steed, I can guarantee that!

where you from mate? i normally see a couple of tuonos out and about around abergavenny to breacon.
 
Yeah, its a nice colour.

To be honest i was looking for the 2008 factory usual red, white etc, but they are like gold dust.
My dealer tried his hardest to get one but, they were unable to get any decent ones, due to Aprilia releasing the black dream at the new price (up £1500). So i bit the bullet and I have yet to see one in the flesh, so fingers crossed.
I got some grt roads round me so, very soon Brecon will be getting the sounds of a new v-twin!!!

church village near pontypridd? im from cwmbran. bike is off the road at the moment as im waiting for my new can to arrive after somebody drove into me last tuesday. i have a 2007 factory.
 
got to say the colour your getting is lovely,i just got mine 2 weeks ago(factory),i bought it new pre regestered on a 2008 plate with 0 miles on it,its the red/white and black,i put a deposit on it and had to wait 1 1/2 weeks before i had it delivered,and yep it was a very long 1 1/2 weeks but well worth it,i never slept the night before it was delivered lol,sad i no,i cant tell you how great a bike they are and i think the build quality is fantastic,beleave me you will love it,ENJOY

sure thing, i get up there most weeks through the summer. cant wait to see what thenew colour looks like in the flesh
 
Not yet, and its killing me waiting!!! The weather is great and I got no bike? Who's idea was it to sell my R1 early??????
Hopefully should be here in a couple of weeks, went to the dealer last week and he said that the order was in and they were about to ship it.

I'll let u all know when it arrives.

Well, It's arrived and god is it amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a phone call on Thursday to say it had arrived and been down today to have a look.
It's even better in the flesh, and so far they have done all the major mods apart from the alarm.
I was gutted to have to leave it there but the waits going to be worth it.
The dealer paul from KICKSTART in Port Talbot has been fantastic, got the bike really quick and between him and his son Charles have done a great job on the bike.
Going down Monday with Insurance so it can be taxed then have to wait till next weekend to pick up. Working away so might go sick lol.

I was like a kid in a candy shop, took loads of photo's and even a video for the sound of the akro's (with baffles out of course) lol.
Hope u all enjoy the pics as much as me, aslong as I can download them that is.

Looks fantastic! Love the news style cans and the little pad on the seat cowl!

There are 2 videos, not the longest or the loudest but couldn't rev it for too long. Promise to have some longer ones when she's brocken in.

Nice vids! The bike is gorgeous! Sounds like the Akras on mine but look gorgeous with those CF end caps.

If you could tell me one thing though, you're gonna......;-)
