Greetings everyone,

I just got a 2008 Tuono 1000R with 4600 miles on it. The bike looks brand new and is a blast. I have wanted one these since riding one at the Honda Hoot demo ride in 2002. It has taken me this long to ge past all the other naked bikes, 2 FZ1s, ZRX 1100 and a Ducati Monster. I was just taking what was available and not getting what I wanted. (Aprilia dealers are hard to find in central Florida). Anyway I am looking forward to many long happy miles with it.

Welcome Sierra.

I bet you dont have to think about black ice, salt on the roads, dark nights, cold rain etc.

Enjoy it.

Greetings bud & welcome.
You've had a few good bikes along the way. Enjoy the magic of the V twin.

Black ice no, cold rain yes. Florida has a different cold, it tears through you and when it is raining it is horrible. But I am sure it gets colder in Europe and stays cold longer. I just came in from a ride and it was 75 degrees. It was 32 the day I got it last week. Just typical fall-winter in Florida.

Tally Ho old bean! :thumbup

differnt kind of cold in Florida? Here in blighty they blight us with salty roads :rant

:scared for my aluminium work - you're lucky!

Welcome s, yer a lucky dawg to still be riding at this time of the year,,,,,,,,,,,,,enjoy mucker. :thumbup

the one thing i dont miss about Canada is the weather in winter, plenty of memories being based in Suffield (BATUS) and it does get cold out on the prairie this time of year. however the night life in downtown Medicine Hat more than makes up for it and when the sun comes out its warmer than over here so enjoy.

Welcome. Great info and good folk abound here. You'll find anything you need to know about the T here.
